Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SlideNarrate, including the Notes Composer and Video Builder features (the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Provider
Service name: SlideNarrate.
Legal entity/operator: Konstantinos Demestichas (Sole Proprietor), Greece.

2. Eligibility and Account
- You must have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate account and billing information.
3. Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewals
- Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions (monthly), unless stated otherwise.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled.
- Billing is processed by Lemon Squeezy (merchant of record) and/or its payment partners.
- Applicable taxes (including VAT) are handled according to the checkout and store tax settings in effect at purchase time.
- Plan changes (upgrade/downgrade) may be prorated according to the billing provider rules.
4. Quotas and Fair Use
- Plan limits may include credits, presentations, slides, and media generation usage.
- Usage is measured and enforced per active billing period.
- We may suspend or limit access for abuse, fraud, excessive automated misuse, or security threats.
5. User Content
- You retain ownership of files and content you upload (e.g., PDF, PPTX, CSV, generated notes).
- You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to operate and provide the Service.
- You represent that you have rights to upload and process the content, and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
6. Prohibited Use
- No unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful use of the Service.
- No attempts to bypass quotas, payment controls, or platform security.
- No malware distribution, scraping abuse, or service disruption.
7. Service Availability and Changes
- The Service is provided on an "as available" basis.
- We may update features, providers, plans, quotas, or technical integrations when reasonably necessary.
- We may perform maintenance and temporary downtime when needed.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service software, branding, interface, and related materials are protected by intellectual property laws and remain the property of SlideNarrate and its licensors.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlideNarrate will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability arising from the Service will not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service during the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
- You may stop using the Service at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, abuse, fraud, or legal compliance reasons.
- Upon termination, access to paid features may end, and data retention/deletion follows our operational policy.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Unless otherwise required by mandatory law, courts of Athens, Greece will have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
